Legal Journalism

Susannah is an ethics attorney; before she went to law school, she wrote about hundreds of legal cases as a reporter for the Miami Herald, the Palm Beach Post and Bloomberg News. She is a skilled researcher, adept at finding the important nugget in a mountain of paper. Susannah is not accepting freelance commissions at this time.

Media Journalism

Susannah was a correspondent for the Columbia Journalism Review’s United States Project, where she wrote about the coverage of local politics and journalism ethics.

International Journalism

Susannah has traveled all over the world telling stories. She has reported from Iraq, Haiti, Cuba, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Bosnia, Turkey and elsewhere. For a time, she specialized in crisis reporting and conflict coverage. That time has ended and she only travels for pleasure now.
